First editions are always associated with special excitement. But the more important question is: What comes next?
When our first issue of LAMY specs appeared in March, the joy was at least as great as our curiosity. How would our new magazine be received? Like the augmented reality concept? Would we convince you, our readers?
Now that you're holding the second edition in your hands, we can say: We jumped boldly and landed softly. The positive response to the premiere of LAMY specs came from all over the world and exceeded our expectations. We hope all the more that this issue inspires you and gives you new, exciting and perhaps surprising insights into the Lamy cosmos.

In product development, the eponymous term “specs”, short for “specifications”, traditionally describes the requirements that an innovation must meet.
In doing so, we keep coming back to our central brand values, which, like a fixed star, guide our actions. "Design. Made in Germany" is just as much a part of this as the commitment to writing by hand - also and especially in the digital age. As a writing instrument brand, we are inseparably rooted in the real, haptic world.
But analogue and digital do not represent a contradiction in terms for us; rather, they form two sides of the same coin. They complement each other, enrich each other.
With this in mind, we wish you an inspiring read.
